Twenty years. Hundreds of weddings.
Based in Dublin, filming across Ireland. Emma's worked with the best planners and venues in the country - they keep recommending her because couples keep thanking them.
Planners trust Emma because she makes their job easier. Venues recommend her because she knows their spaces. Couples book her because she disappears into the day and comes back with a film that feels exactly like it felt.

Emma will have you completely at ease on your day.
Hi, I'm Emma, the creative force behind Edithouse. I am so lucky to call the small village of Greystones my home where I live with Sue, our three children, and two dogs (our first born!).
Downtime with family and friends is so important to me and when I’m not out walking or coaching on the side of a field, you can find me sharing laughs with friends over a pint of Guinness in a cosy pub - that’s my perfect night out.
My adventure began with four inspiring years at film school in NYC, an experience that ignited my passion for storytelling. Returning to Ireland, I founded Edithouse, and since then, I’ve had the honour of capturing the magic of countless incredible weddings.
I live for the candid instants - the unplanned smiles, the shared glances, and the bursts of laughter that truly define your day. Every wedding tells a unique story, and I’m endlessly grateful to be part of that narrative - I truly believe I have the best job in the world, and I can’t wait to capture your day.
Emma is simply a joy to work with. When you are planning a wedding you come across so many suppliers who you have to place your trust in, and Emma is just the very best at what she does.

Alan edits every film. 30+ hours per wedding, no templates, no shortcuts.
Alan, our creative lead, began his media journey in London until fate introduced him to future wife Melissa – a meeting that brought him to Ireland and transformed our team forever!
Alan's musical background is woven into every edit, and his meticulous attention to detail, combined with an impeccable sense of pace, timing, and emotion, creates wedding films that truly resonate.
A devoted dad of two and an avid traveller, Alan finds inspiration in film, photography, and music – especially when he's behind his drum kit. Whether cycling or exploring the great outdoors, his passion for creativity continually elevates every project at Edithouse.

The videos themselves are incredible and we wouldn’t have asked for anything more. Worth every single penny and something we will cherish forever. All of our guests were in awe of the quality! We hope we get the opportunity to work with Edithouse again in the future.

Our Journey to South Sudan
A few years back Emma and Alan travelled to South Sudan to film the extraordinary work that is happening at a girls school at Loreto Rumbek.
In 2026, the beginnings of a new school in Aweil, in the northern part of the country commenced - this time driven by the local community. It's a project close to our heart and one we're delighted to support.
